Stonebwoy still wanted to work with me “lowkey” after sacking us from his label- OV alleges
Ghanaian singer OV has stated that her former label boss, Stonebwoy, wanted to continue working with her even though their contracts were terminated in 2019.
Even though her contract had been cancelled, Stonebwoy still wished to collaborate with Kwaku Manu, according to OV, in a fresh interview. However, this time, Ayisha Modi would serve as her manager.
“After the termination, I had a meeting, several meetings with big brother (Stonebwoy). He said he wants to work with me lowkey, but he wants Aisha to manage me and I told him no,” OV revealed.
Explaining her reason for declining the offer, OV stated that she did not think Ayisha Modi had the professional experience to manage her career.
Professionally, I hadn't seen her work with any artiste and that is not even the main thing, I don't think she has experience in managing an artiste.
“For personal reasons, I chose not to work with her,” she explained.
The “Want Me” singer added that Stonebwoy understood her decision not to work with Ayisha.
“Stonebwoy said he would understand if I don't want to be involved with Aisha,” she added.
