Speak the truth surrounding my exit from your BMG label – OV dares Stonebwoy

Okailey Verse, widely known as OV, has called on her former label boss, Livingstone Setakla, also known as Stonebwoy, to respond to claims regarding her departure from Burniton Music Group.

OV won a music reality TV competition called MTN Hitmaker in 2019, and her stagecraft and talents landed her a contract with BMG shortly after she was proclaimed winner. After signing, she launched her smash single ‘Want Me,' which featured reggae/dancehall singer Stonebwoy, but their collaboration didn't last long.

The news surfaced in mid-2019 that OV and her labelmate, Kelvyn Boy, had been fired from the record label, along with Black Sidi, Stonebwoy's then-manager.

The news brought about so many speculations that many didn't expect this sudden turn of events and what transpired still hasn't been disclosed by the two parties.

Speaking in a recent interview with Kwaku Manu on his ‘Aggressive Show', OV disclosed that his former boss Stonebwoy knows the actual reasons why they parted ways with the label and that she does not want to open up much about it.

“I dare you, presenters, to put it to him on why we left the label and push him to say the truth”, she stated.

However, OV debunked rumors that she's into hard drugs as she affirmed that she's only in love with wine and does not even smoke.
