Abochi, Ghanaian singer and record producer, has revealed that one of his trusted friends launched a “spiritual assault” on him last year.
He said that this was the reason for his apparent disappearance from the music industry following the release of his hit single “Bestie.”
He told Happy FM’s Doctar Cann on the ‘Showbiz Xtra’ show about what happened next: “I began to get sick in the sixth month of last year.”
I threw a birthday party for myself and welcomed all of my friends. Following the band, my illness became so severe that I was admitted to the hospital for three weeks. It was a life-threatening situation.
So I phoned my spiritual father’s number and we talked about it. God explained to us that the person who was spiritually harassing me was a friend.”
According to the singer, based on his behavior and remarks about him, he concluded that this friend had ill intentions against him.
The ‘Bestie’ singer went on to say that the experience inspired him to write his new album, ‘Hallele,’ which features Fameye of Ghana.
In the meantime, Abochi has confirmed that he has severed contact with his mate, but not entirely.
Abochi is now marketing his collaboration with Fameye, “Hallele.”
