“Wizkid Is My African Artiste of The Decade” – Don Jazzy

Collins Michael Ajereh, better known in showbiz as Don Jazzy, the famous Nigerian music producer and record label executive, has named Wizkid as the African Artist of the Decade.

Don Jazzy’s remarks came after Billboard named Canadian-born American rapper Drake the Artist of the Decade, causing film companies and music fans all over the world to take notice.

Provided artists such as Burna Boy, Davido, Burna Boy, Olamide, and others, Nigerians took to social media to discuss who should be called African Artiste of the Decade.

Odesope Olajide, in an Instagram update, asked his followers to nominate their African Artist of the Decade if Billboard were to offer such an award, and the Mavin Records CEO, Wizkid, was mentioned.
