“My Expectations Were Met” – Diana Hamilton On Winning The Artiste Of The Year

Diana Hamilton, the reigning Artiste of the Year at the recently concluded Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), said that she had high aspirations of winning the award at the show’s conclusion.

On Sunday, Diana Hamilton was named the overall Artiste of the Year at the VGMAs. Diana Hamilton, who had been nominated in six categories, won four of them on the night.

Sarkodie, Medikal, Adina, Kuami Eugene, and Kidi were all nominated in the same category as Diana Hamilton.

Despite the fact that it was predicted that either Diana Hamilton or Kidi would receive the prize at the conclusion of the day, the “Adom: hitmaker was named the winner.

Diana Hamilton said she expected to win the award at the end of the day because she was nominated in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz this morning.

According to her, she was nominated in that category, not for the fun of it, but to win it, and she earned it just as much as any other artist nominated in that category.

The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2021 were hosted on Saturday, June 26th, 2021 at the Accra International Conference Centre, as a reminder (AICC). The event was punctuated by spectacular appearances by dignitaries and celebrities.

Some musicians were also able to wow the audience with spectacular performances, and some of them were able to win the categories for which they were nominated.
