“It’s Time For The Youth To Rise And Fight” – Shatta Wale

Shatta Wale, a well-known Ghanaian dancehall singer, has urged Ghana's youth to rise up and fight, rather than relying on social media to fight the country's issues for them.

Shatta Wale, who was reacting to the assassination of #FixTheCountry campaigner Ibrahim Muhammed, advised the young to stop writing pointless dissertations on social media and go out and fight for their life.

Shatta Wale argues that social media discussions would not fix problems, contrary to popular belief, and that taking to the streets is the solution.

Meanwhile, Epixode, the reigning Reggae and Dancehall Artiste of the Year believes that Ghanaian Reggae and Dancehall will soon take over the globe because to its originality, but that it would require rebranding to be recognized globally.

According to Epixode, we can rebrand the Reggae and Dancehall genres by including our local flavor to make them entirely distinct and sell them globally.

Epixode said he wants to use his recent success to assist other young singers to flourish in the Ghanaian Reggae/ Dancehall sector in an interview with GNA Entertainment following his latest milestone at this year's Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
