Highlife papa, Reggie Rockstone joined VIP in 2017 to form VVIP, although the group has been quiet for quite some time.

With no new music from the group, it’s been suggested that they’ve broken up but aren’t announcing it. In response to a question about VVIP not releasing music, the renowned Hip Life creator stated in a recent interview, “we are beginning on our individual ventures.”

He told Graphic Showbiz about the group, “You won’t find two legendary brands coming together as one.” Reggie Rockstone is a fantastic brand in and of itself, and VIP is a fantastic brand as well. When these two brands come together, it’s a match made in heaven.”

The ‘Plan Ben’ rapper expressed his dissatisfaction with the Ghanaian music business, saying that Ghanaians do not take music seriously.

I am really offended when I see music being marginalized in Ghana. Take a look at how the Nigerians have branded Afrobeats and profited handsomely from it,” he added.
