Sarkodie Recounts How He Felt When He Had His First Visa

Sarkcess Music CEO Michael Owusu Addo, best known by his stage as Sarkodie, has described his feelings upon receiving his visa for the first time in an intriguing way.

Sarkodie was speaking at the Sky Bar Villagio in Accra yesterday for the commencement of the 17th edition of the famous annual outdoor event “Ghana Party In The Park.”

This year's festival will feature performances by Kwabena Kwabena, D Black, Camidoh, Mr. Drew, Amerado, Kweku Flick, Yaw Tog, Sefa, Gyakie, Malcolm Nuna, and Kofi Jamar, among others.

The rapper said that he had to go home and shower before opening his package to check his Visa while describing his responses at the premiere.

Every morning, he claims, he will check to see whether it is still in the envelope.

Further, the ‘Saara' singer stated that he is pleased of the music that they produce as artists.

” I'm super excited to see, it takes me back the day I got my visa for the first time, I remember say I go the place, I no wan open am. I wan go catch house before I go open am. I hold the envelope, shower, relax den see say the thing dey inside. Every I check say. You know, I touched down, Our experience was a bit different and I'm really sure my big brother here has some way back stories to tell about some of these things. Just to see the young artistes, not talking about “Party In The Park” but lemme say this I'm supper proud of this time we are in and the type of music we are putting out” He said.
