D Black, the musician and music producer, has stated that an artist's appearance and presentation are just as vital as his or her skill.

This hitmaker of “Enjoyment Minister” made the comment when addressing what factors impact his decision to hire artists.

D Black is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the music record company Black Avenue Muzik. His true name is Desmond Blackmore.

In recent years, he has recruited a number of promising artists to his record company, the most recent of whom is vocalist Sefa.

Before signing an artist, the rapper revealed that he evaluates how he or she looks and expresses themselves.
“It's not only about the skill, but it also's about presentation and how you conduct yourself,” he told MzGee, “it's about how you handle yourself.”

D Black went on to say that the artist must also be industrious, emphasizing that nothing can replace a strong work ethic.

He applauded Sefa for her devotion and hard work in her trade and profession, citing her as an example.
“She is such a dedicated artiste, you guys have no idea,” D Black said. “She is so industrious that she seldom ever falls into my bad books.”
