“I Lost Trust In God After I Lost My Mum” – Obrafour

Obrafour, the legendary Hiplife musician, has revealed that losing his mother has transformed his trust and belief in God.

Obrafour spoke about his mother's passing and how painful it was for him during an interview with Asaase Radio in Accra. He expressed his incomprehension as to why God would remove his mother, whom he adored, from him.

When I lost my mother, I lost my faith and couldn't understand why God would take her away from me, so I ran away from home, “he stated.

It was a trying period for me.

When asked about his music career, Obrafour stated that he acquired a passion for it and worked hard to make it a success in his life. “After I lost my mother, I only turned to music and fell in love with it; one finds their destiny on the route they want to avoid,” he explained.

When asked what he wanted to be when he was a kid, Obrafour informed the presenter that he had always wanted to be a lawyer. He stated he aspired to be a lawyer like his grandpa, but that dream was dashed when he fell in love with music.

“I never imagined that music would become something I would do and be renowned for; I wanted to be a lawyer like my grandpa when I was younger,” he stated.
