“I Learnt Kidnapping Of Schoolchildren From Michael Zubby” – Nigerian Kidnapper Confesses

A 23-year-old guy named Ayobamidele Kudus Ayodele informed investigators that his favorite Nollywood star, Zubby Michael, taught him how to kidnap children for ransom.

In an operation headed by Tunji Disu, agents from the Force Intelligence Response Team apprehended the suspect.

Disu, a Deputy Commissioner of Police, leads the FIRT.

After stealing a six-year-old Remson Group of Schools youngster, Ayodele was nabbed in the Ojo Alaba district of Lagos State.

Ayodele abducted the youngster for four days and demanded N550,000 from his parents before releasing him.

He claimed after his arrest that this was his first kidnapping and that he had honed his kidnapping technique by studying Zubby Michael.

“I’m a highly clever person who excelled as a scientific student,” he stated.

“Unfortunately, things got so difficult for my family that we were forced to relocate to a hamlet in Mowe, Ogun State, where we could find modest housing.”

“To make ends meet, I started hustling in Alaba International Market.

I bring in consumers for merchants and get paid a commission at the end of the day.

“My favorite Nollywood actor is Zubby Michael, and he’s great at abduction scenes.”

“As a result, I decided to try out some of the methods used by Zuby in the movies to kidnap children and adults.”

“After a father, Mr. Afam Eze, whose son was abducted and released after he paid ransom, wrote a petition to the Inspector-General of Police, Alkali Baba, Ayodele was declared wanted,” a police source said.

“According to the petition, Afam, who lives in the Ojo Alaba area of Lagos State, received a call from his distraught wife, crying and screaming that their six-year-old son, Ebube Eze, was missing, on November 16, 2021, around 9 a.m., while he was at the Trade Fair.”
