“It’s Weird How People Play My Song But Don’t Know Me” – Gabanki

Ghanaian musician cum Sound Engineer, Gabanki has revealed how he feels when people play his song in his present But Don't Know him attach to the song.

One day, I went to Accra mall and people were jamming to my song but didn't know I sang it, so there was this guy who asked, “Isn't your song that they are playing?” and I felt weird. Gabanki revealed this in an interview with KMJ on Joy Prime.

However, Gabanki is not the only musician whose music seems to be more popular than their personality. The same thing happened to Agbeshie when he released Wrowroho in 2018. Adekunle Gold of Nigeria is facing the same problem now.

Gabanki went on to say in the interview that it is about time people got to know him better.

To him, he lacks the right connection and being financially down is what is making his music more popular than himself.
