Black Sherif Allegedly Sued By Investor For Breach Of Contract, No Shows For Him During The Pendency Of Suit
Shadrach Agyei Owusu, the Chief Executive Officer of Waynes Chavis Consult, has sued Black Sherif for allegedly breaching a contract.
This lawsuit stems from allegations that Black Sherif ignored his investor after he invested in his career.
Black Sherif was said to have inked a distribution agreement with Empire Music without his investor's permission, despite the fact that he allegedly had a business management contract with him.
According to the deal, he must conduct all of his actions through the investor who came on board to assist the performer.
In a writ of summons dated April 11, 2022, the plaintiff, Black Sherif, the plaintiff, seeks to be barred from performing at gatherings without his agreement.
He also asks for an order preserving any revenues earned through Black Sherif's internet streaming.
Shadrach also wants a receiver appointed to collect the revenues of all cash generated by the defendant's acts.
This comes at a time when Black Sherif's current song, “Kwaku The Traveller,” is at the top of the worldwide charts, making him Ghana's most sought-after musician in recent years.
