Xupa Performs “Agbadza” at Ghana Music Awards Dubai Launch (Video)

Emerging Ghanaian Musician Xupa has Thrilled fans at the launching Of Ghana Music awards Dubai with his latest hit single “Agbadza”.

On the 10th of June, history was set in Dubai as Xupa perform at the Ghana Music awards Dubai Launch hosted by Medvic Media.

The Event saw other celebrities like, Sammy Flex, Doctor Kay, DJ Hitman among others, The main Event will take place on 30TH July 2022 in Copthorne Hotel, Deira City Center In Dubai.

The awards scheme, which is the first of its kind, was instituted to recognize and honour distinguished creative arts industry personalities in Ghana and outside the country, who have positively contributed to the steady growth of the music industry in Ghana.

The organisers have lined up a number of Ghanaian celebrated artistes to thrill fans at the launch. Organized by Medvic Media, a subsidiary of Medvic Company Limited, the awards scheme which is an annual event to be held in Dubai (UAE) is aimed at raising the standard of Ghanaian music on the world music scene.

They said the event is also meant to promote excellence and give recognition to Ghanaian musicians’ artistes in the music industry both in Ghana, USA and others in Europe, Australia, Asia, Middle East and Africa.

They pointed out that, the awards scheme is also meant to create a platform which will facilitate a smooth working relationship between Ghanaian musicians and their counterparts in the DAUBAI and other parts of the world in a manner of collaborations.  

The organizers however noted that Dubai is a commercial city with cultural diversity, which has African Music and Culture being significantly acknowledged.  “Most Africans, such as Ghanaians, Nigerians, South Africans, Ugandans, among others, celebrate a lot of occasions in the UAE.  The city also remains one of the vacation destinations for Africans.  There is therefore exposure of the African culture and music in the country”, they said.
