Born Kisa Gbekle, is a charming Ghanaian actress, singer and producer who was born on January 16, 1992. She hails from Aflao in the Volta Region of Ghana.

Kisa Gbekle, unlike certain actresses who grew up in a luxurious home with choices of life to live and places to visit outside the country when on vacations, she didn't have any of those. She grew up in the Volta Region where she engaged in petty trades where she used to sell second-hand clothes to make a living.

Kisa, also asserted that, growing up was quite a tough moment for her due to the insurmountable serious financial difficulties she and her family faced that led her into sleeping around with men to earn a living.

She openly said in an interview how disastrous life was for her and the mother to the extent that they had to walk miles to her aunt's place to get corn flour to make a meal and also had to pick tomatoes or pepper from the refused dump before a meal could be set.

According to her, she furthered her education to the Ghallywood Film School located in Tsopoli, near Ada. Kisa said her lovely mum encouraged her to pursue her acting career.

She moved to Accra in 2012 to fully start a fresh start of life. Moving to Accra, she didn't just find it easy at all. She kept facing the difficulties of life but she never succumbed to the hasty threats of poverty.

Speaking in an interview, she professed she was discovered by Abdul Salam at the Ghallywood Film School when she won the Best Actress of the school in 2012.

She said, a guy from Aflao helped her rent a single room self-contain where she stayed and became Abdul Salam's P.A and secretary to his Venus Film Productions.

She came into the limelight when she starred in the award winning TV series “The Miser”. Kisa as a producer was the executive producer of a movie titled “Thank

God is Friday” which also featured Majid Michel and was directed by Pascal Amanfo. She is also the executive producer and a host of “The Business of Entertainment with Kisa” which is aired on GhOne TV on Saturdays from 10am.
