GOG Album Is A Grammy Standard — Shatta Wale
Charles Nii Armah Mensah, also known as Shatta Wale, has revealed how far he wants to take his Album, claiming that his Gift of God Album is of Grammy caliber and that fans should expect big things from him.
In an interview with showbiz360 on Tv3, the multiple award-winning Reggae-Dancehall entertainer revealed how much he has invested in making the album as an indie artiste over the years.
He confirmed that the Gift of God Album will be released on his birthday, Monday, October 17, 2022, but he did not confirm whether he will release a single from the Album or the entire body of work, stating that this is a strategy.
Shatta Wale revealed that he has heard many comparisons and requests from fans for him to win BET; however, he advised fans not to put pressure on him to win Black Entertainment Awards; instead, the Grammys should be the standard.
Shatta Wale, the “On God” hitmaker, has revealed that he is working with a company that will distribute his upcoming album.
He claims that the Album is a Grammy standard.
In response, Shatta Wale revealed how much he charged for shows. He claims to be the only Ghanaian artist who has charged $100,000 for three conservative performances. Shatta Wale explained that he charged 100k for the Afro Nation in 2019, 130k for the Cardi B show in Ghana, and 120k for the Wildland.
Shatta Wale, a dancehall star, claimed to have purchased seven homes with money earned from his music.
