It talks about his struggles while growing up with his parents, not having enough food, how long he has to walk before going to school and how he had to farm some days to cater for his fees.
The term ‘Kolia Vi' is an Ewe phrase that means a poor child. This new song by ZyGee is one with the message to continually remind himself of where he is from, Anloga in the Volta Region of Ghana, and things he has to do to uplift himself from poverty.
All these pushed him to strive to achieve a lot in life to support those who are still leaving in those conditions.
This he believes is a story that a lot of people originate from where he comes from and more could identify with. This is an uplifting song to encourage anytime one is going through a tough time that when you strive through and put in effect proper plan, you will succeed.
