The viral photo of Irene Owusu, the newly married wife of former YOLO actor Harold Amenya, taken at his traditional wedding, is currently monopolizing social media discourse and the grapevine.

Remember that social media has been flooded with various opinions about Irene's appearance in the last few hours? This online portal previously revealed that the inadvertently viral photo sparked mean comments from trolls, with some questioning why a handsome man like Harold would choose an unsuitable woman like Irene.

Caroline Sampson, a media personality, first shared the image on her social media platform with the caption, “Guy no got married.”

Trolls grasped the opportunity right away, and as insults flew in all directions directed at the woman, others jumped to her defence and insisted that she is a stunning woman.

They claim the camera angle and lighting are to blame for her not-pleasant looks as portrayed in the photo.

Abby Awuni wrote: “99% of the stuuup!d comments are coming from women who are no better than her. The 1% is from the Ghc50 beggar”.

Adwoa Animah had this to say, “So according to some of you, per your beauty standards, this lady isn't beautiful and beneath the guy? Nah some of you calling you sick will be insulting to real sick people”.

“The most disparaging comments are coming from women. They'll come after me but I don't mind. Women are their own enemies. Men never do these things. Almost everything, it's women doing these things to fellow women,” Eugene Osei Tutu posted.
