Abigail Adjiri wins Talented Kidz Season 14

Abigail Adjiri, the TV3 Talented Kidz winner, will look back on Sunday, April 17, 2023 as one of her best days.

After weeks of electrifying performances by talented candidates from throughout the nation, the fourteenth season of the well-known Ghanaian talent competition came to a close at the Accra International Conference Centre.

The winner of this year's competition, 7-year-old Abigail, outlasted six other competitors and took home GHS 15,000 in cash, a tablet computer, and merchandise valued at GHS 2,000 from the title sponsor, Indomie.

The judges named Thatness Kids Models as the first runner-up, MFC Dancers as the second runner-up, and Rahman as the third runner-up.

Despite having hearing loss, young Abigail won the competition with a performance that dazzled the judges, audience, and watchers at home.

She gained a place in the hearts of everyone who watched the show because to her outstanding talent week after week.

Abigail, a student at the Vitnaya Academy in Prampam, refused to let her impairment stand in the way of her goals because she was determined to succeed despite all circumstances.

Abigail ascended the stage again after being declared the winner to raucous cheers and congratulations from the crowd, and she performed winning dance steps that have since gone viral.

Throughout the competition, Abigail showcased her incredible talent by performing a variety of dance repertoire, from traditional Ghanaian music to popular international hits, and always managed to connect with the audience.

People on social media took to the internet to congratulate Abigail on her well-deserved win and praised her for the hard work, passion and energy she put into her craft, describing her as “a true inspiration to young people everywhere”

A user wrote, “I really love her and her performances!!! It's jaw-dropping”

Another opined “She deserves it. And she respects a lot. Any little thing then she puts her hands at the back.”

Abigail's victory on season 14 has also sent a powerful message about inclusion and celebrating diversity with the audience heaping praises on the producers of the show for their foresight.
