I’m Sherif, Working For Black Sherif, And I Don’t See Myself To Be Famous – Kwaku Rasta
Many celebrities, especially those from Ghana, may fear losing their fame because of the change of taste among Ghanaian entertainment consumers, but the reigning artiste of the year at the just-ended Vodafone Ghana Music Award, Sherif Ismail Mohammed Frimpong, better known as Black Sherif, is one of the few who are not afraid of losing their fame.
In a recent interview on Okay Fm, the street preacher made it known to blogger Nene of the 1957news, who asked if the ‘paradise’ hitmaker is afraid of losing his fame, and Killa Blacko answered by saying:
I don’t see myself as famous; I just work for Black Sherif, and I’m that Sherif who rides his bicycle at Spintex to buy my Waakye. I still have my life and have my voice to sing and be okay.
