Shatta Wale, a Ghanaian Dancehall artist, has made a surprising comment that has people wondering whether he is telling the truth or joking about the whole thing.
Shatta Wale, born Charles Nii Armah Mensah, is bisexual, according to him.
LGBTQ issues came up earlier this week, as Parliament prepares to put an anti-LGBTQ measure into law in the coming weeks.
Hon. Ursula Owusu, Minister of Communication, lost her temper in parliament on Wednesday after being labeled as an LGBTQ practitioner by another member of parliament, Hon. Murtala Mohammed.
In declaring his participation on the newly launched social media platform Threads, the ‘Ayoo’ hitmaker stated that he should be classified as a bisexual on the app.
“Pls for this place, I am Bi-sexual,” he wrote.
Shortly after his post, his supposed ex-girlfriend Efia Odo reacted, saying this is what she’s been talking about.
