Zoleka Mandela, a late writer and activist, accused her cousin Mandla Mandela of abusing her sexually.
After over ten years of being cancer-free, Zoleka, the late granddaughter of former president Nelson Mandela and anti-apartheid crusader Winnie Madikizela-Mandela, lost her fight with the disease on Monday.
The author, who was extremely open about her battle with cancer, started preparing her burial earlier this year. This included inviting people to her funeral that she did not want there.
The mother of six, 43, was laid to rest in Fourways on Friday, September 29, and a private, solemn burial service was held at the Bryanston Methodist Church.
She lists 22 people who she forbids from attending her burial or getting close to her body in her diary, which Zimoja obtained.
Three of the 22 specified men have been named by Zoleka as having mistreated her sexually, and they are as follows:
AbaThembu King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo, a relative of Mandla Mandela, and Mike Seakamela
She lists both Thierry Bashala and Leeroy Andile Cana as the fathers of her children.
On the list are other members of her paternal family, including the Mandela, Madikizela, and Seakamela families.
