In an interview with JoyPrime TV, Mzbel said that she regrets her involvement in politics, saying that it had a very detrimental impact on both her personal and professional lives.
She didn't ask for advice on how to handle politics as a star, the experienced artist claims, and as a result, she used incorrect remarks that sparked a wave of public criticism and damaged her reputation in the nation.
The well-known National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporter and singer said that she has made the decision to step away from politics in order to concentrate on her company and profession in music.
“I backed my party [the NDC], and it was my first time coming out to say this and that, but I didn't ask anyone if the way I'm doing it is appropriate or how it should be done.” I really gave it my best,” she admitted.
“I simply went all out, and once again, people misread me. And I think some of the terms I used weren't acceptable for that setting. I received a lot of criticism and abuse as a result.
“I lost a ton of businesses and friends. Yes. So I'm trying to be really careful this time. I remain devoted to the NDC. I'll continue to back my party. I won't venture outside.
