”You Have To Be A Politician, Fraudster Or A Pastor To Be Rich In Ghana” – Worlasi
Worlasi, the alternative artist from Ghana, is concerned that the country’s foundations are being eroded by immorality.
He said it’s becoming more common for people in the nation to employ questionable methods to get rich.
The alternative musician claims that being wealthy requires being a politician, priest, or con artist on Joy Prime’s Celeb Biz with Amelley Djosu.
Worlasi regarded this phenomenon as an insult to labour. He feels that if people who have amassed wealth through dishonest means are celebrated and seen as successful, society will be doomed.
“Before you can be successful in this country, you either have to be a politician, pastor, or fraudster, and it is not looking good. Why can’t doctors be millionaires like in other countries? Why can’t IT designers also be billionaires? Why can’t we have people like that who are billionaires? Why does it always have to be politicians, pastors, or fraudsters? It’s just not nice,” he said.
