Martyn Waghorn 

, an English professional footballer, is a forward for Derby County. He made his debut for Sunderland in 2007 and has played for Charlton Athletic, Leicester City, Hull City, Millwall, and Wigan Athletic.

Sunderland's Waghorn made his debut in 2007 against Manchester United. He played loan spells with Charlton Athletic and Leicester City before joining Leicester City in 2010. Waghorn left England in 2015, joined Rangers, and returned to England in 2017 before signing for Coventry City in 2021.

In December 2007, Waghorn made his first team debut against Manchester United, playing in left midfield. He signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Sunderland in February 2008, but only appeared in the 2008-09 season against Chelsea.

Waghorn then joined Millwall on a three-month loan deal in September 2013, scoring his first goal against Derby County. He joined Derby County on August 8, 2018, and scored his first goal in a 1–4 loss against Leeds United.

In 2017, Waghorn joined Ipswich Town on a two-year contract, scoring the winning goal in a 2–1 victory over Barnsley. He finished the season as the club's top scorer with 16 league goals. In January 2014, he joined Wigan Athletic on loan until the end of the season, making his debut in a 1–0 defeat.

He scored his first senior hat-trick in a 4–0 win over Greenock Morton on September 27, 2015, making him the leading goal scorer in the league.

Waghorn received the Scottish Championship Player of the Month Award for September due to his performances on the pitch. He also scored two goals in a 4–0 victory against Alloa Athletic on November 7, 2015, adding to his overall tally to 17 goals.

On July 20, 2015, Waghorn signed a three-year deal with Rangers, using 33 as his squad number due to superstition. He scored a double on his debut for Rangers in the Scottish Challenge Cup against Hibernian on July 25, 2015, and netted twice from the penalty-spot in a 5–1 defeat of Queen of the South on August 30, 2015.
