Martyn Waghorn Career
In December 2007, Waghorn made his first team debut against Manchester United, playing in left midfield. He signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Sunderland in February 2008, but only appeared in the 2008-09 season against Chelsea.
Waghorn then joined Millwall on a three-month loan deal in September 2013, scoring his first goal against Derby County. He joined Derby County on August 8, 2018, and scored his first goal in a 1–4 loss against Leeds United.
In 2017, Waghorn joined Ipswich Town on a two-year contract, scoring the winning goal in a 2–1 victory over Barnsley. He finished the season as the club's top scorer with 16 league goals. In January 2014, he joined Wigan Athletic on loan until the end of the season, making his debut in a 1–0 defeat.
