Sarkodie Joins Dance Challenge For Viral Highlife Singer, Safo Newman’s New Single (Video)
On Friday, January 12, 2023, Sarkodie—possibly the most awarded rapper in Africa—endorsed Safo Newman, a gifted Ghanaian Highlife musician, after he happened to stumble upon one of his videos.
After a post from Ghanaian music executive Yaw Boadu-Ayeboafoh on X, formerly known as Twitter, went viral, the head of Sarkcess Music took a chance on the unusual talent.
In the aforementioned post, my Yaw received nearly 200,000 views and numerous tags from prominent Ghanaian musicians who many wanted to be featured on the song.

After the that earlier endorsement of Safo Newman, Sarkodie has decided to continue giving the budding music talent his support.
The “Otan” hitmaker has just joined the dance challenge of “Akokoa” viral song crooner by sharing a cropped video of his dance with that of Safo on his social media pages.
