“I Made My First Million Pounds At Age 21 From Selling Scraps” – Cheddar Reveals
Nana Kwame Bediako, popularly known as Cheddar, a purpose-driven presidential candidate, told how he made his first million pounds at the age of twenty-one by selling scrap metal and investing in telecoms in the UK.
From these profits, he then committed $20,000 to open a nightclub in Ghana, which sold for $75,000 in 2002.
In a Citi TV interview, Cheddar reaffirmed his pledge to provide young people the chance to participate in decision-making if he is elected in the 2024 election, highlighting the dearth of such opportunities during the previous forty years.
“The first money I made in England altogether was a million pounds, and I was 21. I was working for myself; my company was GT, Global Telecommunications and Utilities, and I was selling scrap. I had my own office, and I had two employees.
“I started investing at a very young age, and what happens when you make investments is that the money goes away and it feels like you are broke again, so it makes you hungry,” he explained.
