“I Don’t Feel Threatened, I Will Re-Apply For The Guinness Record Record And Cook For Million Days” – Chef Faila
In an attempt to shatter the record for the longest cooking marathon (per person), chef Beauty Obasuyi, an African-born Canadian, is now engaged in an 18-day culinary feat that combines skill, perseverance, and community spirit.
With the aim of surpassing Irish chef Alan Fisher’s current record of 119 hours, the audacious endeavor is being live-streamed on her YouTube channel and is taking place inside her restaurant, Naija Jollof.
She continued and is currently at roughly 350 hours after learning about Chef Faila‘s incredible 227-hour cooking marathon.
Even though the Ghanaian chef’s effort to break the record has not been verified, her bid is still questionable, suggesting he may not have ruled with her record for very long.
This has raised a lot of concerns on the internet, especially when Chef Faila was ready to go days with this record, but her team advised her to end it all for health reasons.
Speaking in an interview with Giovani Caleb, Chef Faila revealed she will be tipped to do a million days when she is awarded for the longest cooking and longest number of days.
She said, “Nobody can scare us; if they try, I will reapply and cook for a million days.”
