After he was reportedly kidnapped controversial blogger Bongo Ideas—also known as “I am the devil’s incarnate”—spoke for the first time.
The contentious entertainment critic acknowledged in a self-recorded video that there was, in fact, some truth to what Ghanaians had heard.
According to Bongo Ideas, who was narrating the story, on March 14th, at around three in the morning, a group of men posing as police officers came to his house and tried to arrest him.
He claims that after they had beaten him, they had pointed a gun at him, threatened to kill him, and told him to say his final prayer.
He went on to say that the alleged police officers warned him to stop talking about the first gentleman of the country, President Akufo Addo.
