“Shatta Wale Was Never My Boss, He Was A Friend” – Joint 77 (Video)

Joint 77, a former member of the Shatta Movement family, has expressed his displeasure with how his former friend, , was addressed as his boss when he was a member of his team.

There have been several disagreements between the former members and their boss, , after Joint 77, Natty Lee, and Addi Self left the SM Camp. Joint 77 is one of them who seems to have difficulties with Shatta Wale despite the fact that their feud is over.

Joint 77 claimed clearly in a recent interview on Okay FM's Best Entertainment show with Halifax that Shatta Wale was never his boss, but rather a buddy who he merely attempted to assist in the promotion of his brand.

According to him, he had no boss when he was a part of the team, but Shatta Wale was the team's leader, and he simply saw him as a brother who required his support to build his brand because of the years he spent with him, not a boss, as some music fans assumed.

He told Halifax that before meeting Shatta Wale, he already had experience making music and that his only service to him was to push his brand to the top, but that he was never working for him.

The ‘Martin Amidu' singer, on the other hand, refuted claims that he formed his 77 Batalions to conquer the SM Empire. He claims he's building his brand for himself and his fans, not to compete with anyone.
