Dancehall performer Jupitar mentioned several Ga-speaking performers when he launched into a Twitter tirade, alleging that some Ghanaian media outlets do not fully back them.

Some social media users criticized his remark and disproved the assertion that Shatta is adored.

However, Jupitar has stuck to his story and emphasized that, contrary to what the media is portraying, 's followers are what are driving the success of his music and career.

“I was ridiculed for including King Promise and 's names in my list of artists who don't receive support,” the speaker stated in a statement to 3MusicNetworks. Don't deceive yourself—Shatta is receiving positive press.

“What he has, I'm telling you, is street love.” Although the folks in power don't relate to us, the boys on the street love and sing along to his music. They do not consider us to be among their favorites. On the grounds that we don't respect them, they reject us.

Meanwhile, Shatta Wale criticized some media figures and gatekeepers for destroying him on various platforms and on his social media accounts.
