Shatta Wale has been highly tipped to scoop several awards but that is dependent on whether he is nominated.

And in consonance with that belief, the Freedom hit maker says that indeed it’s only when he is not nominated that Ebony will win the prestigious ‘Artist of the Year’ award.

In an interview on OK FM, Shatta Wale expressed mad love for Ebony’s brand but asked her jovially to pray hard that he is excluded from the scheme.
The self-proclaimed Dancehall King said he has had a bigger year than Ebony and listed his hits such as ‘Taking Over’, ‘Ayoo’, ‘Forgetti’, ‘Freedom’ and ‘Dem Confused’.
He said:
“Ebony is my girl and I really love her and what she is doing but as for the artiste of the year, unless they don’t nominate me, before she can win. So she should just pray they don’t nominate me.
