I went back to school to fulfil the dream of my parents – Guru
Musician Guru has disclosed that he went back to school to satisfy his parents.
According to him, his parents had invested in him and always wanted him to earn his degree.
He, therefore decided to go back to school to fulfil their wish after excelling in music in Ghana.
”My parents have always wanted me to finish my degree so I decided to do this for them,” he said.
Guru indicated that he gained admission to study Information Technology but changed to study political science because he had delayed in attending lectures.
To him, the interest in political science was borne out of his love for the UN and the need to understand the political systems of Ghana.
Although he has been told by many that he may become the MP for Nkoranza, he does not have any plans to contest the seat.
”I’ve not conceived the idea to contest. Even my MP does not pick my calls. I’ve been told by a number of people that I’ll go to Parliament but I’ve not given it a thought yet,” he said.
