EL crowned 2016 VGMA Artiste of the Year.
Ghanaian HipHop/Hiplife artiste EL (@ELrepGH) in the early hours of today was crowned the 2016 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Artiste of the year.
The young Hip-hop Rapper cum producer EL beat competition from Sarkodie, Bisa Kdei, VVIP , Stonebwoy etc. to win the award to climax a good year in his music career .
In a speech after being announced winner, the #koko hit-maker said the award “is well deserved, Thank to BBnZ Live, thank My Ghana people .”
“Thanks to my parents for letting me learn how to play Beats, even though my dad wanted me. To go to school ad I did I still have to do the music. ,” he said.
Stonebwoy, Sarkodie and Bisa Kdei were the biggest winners on the night after winning three, three and four awards respectively.
