Mpho will forever be a part of us, says Mandoza's family.

As the nation continues to mourn the loss of kwaito legend Mandoza, his family have paid glowing tribute to the musician’s wife.
Mandoza’s wife Mpho has been hailed by friends and fans of the musician for her strength and for the support she has offered to her husband over the years of their marriage.
Speaking to TMG Entertainment at a press briefing in Soweto on Monday, Mandoza’s uncle Mzwakhe Tshabalala joined the chorus of praise for Mpho and said that she will always be a part of the family.
“I don’t think she will get married. I think that she will stay with this family and with their kids. That is my wish. She is so important to this family. We no longer have Mandoza but we still have Mpho,” Mzwakhe said.
He added that if she did have to move on, the family’s love for her would not diminish in the slightest as they will always honour her.
“Even if she had to get married, she will remain important to this family. She will always have her place here because we honour her for standing by Mandoza and supporting him through everything,” Mzwakhe said.
Mzwakhe’s glowing comments comes as friends, family and community members continue to visit the late musician’s home in Soweto to pay tribute to the icon.
Mpho’s last moments with Mandoza
Talking to the TMG Entertainment outside of the house, Mandoza’s manager Kevin Ntaopane hailed Mpho as “an amazing woman” and recounted her last moments with her husband.
“Sister Mpho is such an amazing woman. Even in difficult times, she was there. Seeing her speaking to her husband’s lifeless body was like looking at a woman that was broken. She said ‘I love this man. I love this man’. She has remained strong,” he said.
All of the visitors to the house that have spoken to TMG Entertainment have praised Mpho, commending her for her strength and selflessness.
Mpho’s brother told reporters that it was a difficult time for his sister but that she is trying to stay strong for her children.
