Poverty Hitmaker and Empawa Africa artist J Derobie is out with another conscious dancehall tune by all standards dubbed Irie.
Before November 2018, J Derobie, did not know his song, “Poverty”, will be the number one trending song in Ghana.
In November 2018, Nigerian musician and originator of “Banku Music”, Mr Eazi, announced “EMPAWA 100” initiative in search of brilliant and talented underground acts. He through “EMPAWA Africa”, was to fund music videos by talented musicians to a tune of $3000 each.
J Derobie was amongst the many talented acts across Africa who partook in the challenge across social media.
J.Derobie is out with purely an original old school Dancehall Jam, “Irie” produced by Juls Baby.
