‘If you are not from Accra or based there as a musician, then you are nobody’ – Chief One Cries
Talented Ghanaian artiste with a huge following based in the Volta Region, Chief One has taken to social media to voice out his frustration over what he terms unfair treatment to other regional based artistes.
According to a tweet he made on his Twitter handle, any artiste who isn't based in Accra or from the capital city isn't considered as a Ghanaian.
He wrote: “If you ain't a musician from Accra or based there, you are not considered as a Ghanaian. We are coming to the Accra some.”
Surprisingly, his tweet is very true.
Many top artistes based outside Accra has constantly complained of the industry.
They do say awards won by artistes in the industry are largely controlled by the Accra based artistes despite not deserving such awards based on their work input.
Chief One was recently in the news after releasing a dope song dubbed ‘Give And Take‘ Remix.
