Shatta Wale, Kuami Eugene won’t be paid for COVID-19 virtual concert – Gov’t clarifies
A Communications Specialist at the Ministry of Communication, Sandra Frimpong has put to bed the various arguments on whether the government is paying Shatta Wale and Kuame Eugene for the virtual concert to launch the COVID-19 app.

The Ministry intends to entertain the audience during the process of launching the Application and has therefore billed Kuame Eugene and Shatta Wale for the event.

Knowing Shatta Wale and his love for his job and remuneration, some social media users expressed worry over the fact that unnecessary monies were going to be paid to these artistes.
But responding to the various debates and putting it to sleep, Sandra Frimpong who is known popularly as Maame Broni said the show is for free and that artistes are not being paid to do the job.
