Drake's beef with Kanye West

André 3000, Pusha-T, and Consequence are just a few rappers getting involved in the ongoing  and Kanye dispute.

On August 29, Kanye finally released ‘Donda' after much anticipation, while released his sixth studio album ‘Certified Lover Boy' just five days later.

Drake caused more conflict by leaking Kanye's ‘Donda' outtake featuring André 3000 named ‘Life Of The Party', which was first played at a private listening party.

In the leaked version, Kanye has added in a diss verse targeting Drake. André 3000 stated that he thought the track was a tribute to Kanye's late mother and didn't know the diss verse would be put in.

“We were hoping to make a more focused offering for the ‘Donda' album but I guess things happen like they are supposed to. It's unfortunate that it was released in this way and two artists that I love are going back and forth. I wanted to be on ‘Certified Lover Boy' too,” he said.

The track was leaked on the SiriusXM broadcast a day after Drake's album dropped. Kanye can be heard in his verse, “I put Virgil and Drake on the same text and it wasn't about the matching Arc'teryx or Kid Cudi dress / Just told these grown men, stop it with the funny shit.”

‘Certified Lover Boy' also features a track that appears to dig at Kanye – “Get that address to your driver, make it your destination / instead of just a post out of desperation,” he raps on ‘7:AM On Bridle Path'.

Last month, Kanye leaked Drake's address to the public. A screenshot of a map showing Drake's full address was posted briefly on Instagram and quickly deleted.

Now, rappers appear to be taking sides in the ongoing dispute which has been in the public eye for the past decade. Pusha-T recently liked a tweet alluding to his bias toward Kanye, which showed the potential downfall of ‘Certified Lover Boy' listeners.

The tweet read: “I said drake's day 1 is gonna be huge off the element of surprise then it's just gonna drop. ‘Donda' everyone heard in full 3 weeks before it dropped, still did these numbers and is only growing in streams. Crazy!”

Consequence has also now dropped a diss track that takes aim at Drake, rapping: “Your parents out here like Sonya and Dell / And ever since Sophie had a story to tell/ You've been taking Ls and coming after K / And thought we couldn't tell you were coming after K / But most crabs are a shell of their self.”

After ‘Certified Lover Boy' dropped last week, fans noticed the controversial credit on the record which gave recently convicted singer R. Kelly merit. Drake's producer Noah Shebib addressed this on Instagram, saying they were “forced to license” the track.

He said that during the track with OG Ron C speaking, “an R. Kelly song [is] playing in the background,” but says that the voice “isn't even present”.
