Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah, the Founder and Leader of Glorious Word Power Ministries International, has allegedly been taken to the Police Hospital in Accra after becoming ill while in prison.

According to 3News, the controversial man of God who was remanded in police prison on September 13 was transported to the hospital in handcuffs.

Reverend Owusu Bempah was remanded in police custody and is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, September 20.

Reverend Owusu Bempah is accused of assaulting and wounding police officers who were dispatched to apprehend him.

He was shown in a viral video at the home of Patricia Asiedu, also known as Nana Agr, with men carrying and flaunting firearms.

After being apprehended on Sunday, September 12, the controversial cleric was arraigned in court by the Ghana Police Service’s Accra Regional Command.

Reverend Owusu Bempah was remanded in police prison by a court presided over by Her Honour Afia Owusuwaa Appiah on Monday, September 20.

After some back and forth on Facebook, social media was flooded with photos and videos of Reverend Owusu Bempah and his boys at the house of Agradaa on Friday, September 10.

Despite their willingness to face Agradaa, several of her family members encouraged her to remain hidden. The event drew the attention of Ghana Police, who quickly restored order to the neighborhood.

In a new video, Reverend Owusu Bempah explains that he went to Agradaa’s house after she vowed to deal with him spiritually and smash him.
