The Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture has been tasked by television presenter Matilda Adjoa Densu, better known as , to renovate the Efua Sutherland Children's Park, which is currently in a deplorable state.

The facility is intended to be a recreational site for children and is located at Ridge in the heart of the capital.

Weeds have taken over areas of the park since the facility has received little or no upkeep. The Children's Park used to be a bustling playground with a large variety of amusement park rides. However, because it has been left to deteriorate, it no longer fulfills its role.

As a result, has demanded that the facility be renovated to the same high level as other private playgrounds in Ghana.

“I'm not here to promote; I'm a little crazy. I'd like us to talk about something serious, so glance behind me and check around the Children's Park's surroundings. Check out the open drainages; there are floods all everywhere. “Where will our children play?” she wondered as she photographed the facility's deterioration.

“When you go to the private malls, you'll notice that they make money from bouncy castles and other attractions. We could do the same thing here, but we've given up on this facility. What is being done about the problem by the Creative Industry and Tourism? Children used to come here to play, and it was once a tourist attraction… She stated, “We need to wake up and repair the issue.”
