“I Wanted To Feature Kevin Hart In A Local Movie But He Charged Me More Than 100 Million Dollars” – Ghanaian Producer
Benjamin Famous, the Chief Executive Officer of Famous Multimedia, has claimed that he intended to cast several foreign stars in his next film, “Zongo Boys,” but that he lacked the means to do so.
Famous claimed in an interview with Zionfelix, a lifestyle and celebrity blogger, that his films had always featured only Ghanaian actors, but that this time he wanted to push the limits by bringing in some foreign talent.
He said that he came to the United States of America to meet with Kevin Darnell Hart, one of Hollywood's top performers, about appearing in his next film, “Zongo Boys.”
He was unable to complete the agreement, however, since the money sought by Kevin Hart was too much for him to pay. He said that he was unable to secure funding from investors, forcing him to renegotiate with another celebrity.
He concluded that Nigeria's Jim Iyke might also play such a character in his film after carefully evaluating the situation, so he approached him and negotiated the contract with him.
