Shatta Wale Explains Why He Couldn’t Perform At The Hogbetsotso Festival Concert
Shatta Movement fans in the Volta region have called on their leader, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, professionally known as Shatta Wale, to explain to them that while he was in their region but failed to perform at the just-ended Hogbetsotso festival, he appeared with his crew but failed to climb the stage.
However, in a video we have spotted with Shatta Wale explaining why he didn't show up for the event, he says that he had a deal with the organizers to move him straight to his hotel to avoid being mobbed by people in the community, but they refused to go by that deal, instead asking him to go and have a radio interview because they would take him to his hotel.
In the video, Shatta Wale asked how he could carry his luggage to the radio station without settling down first; he even moved on to ask if that's how foreign artists who move to the country are treated.
