Chairman Wontumi To Purchase Ronaldo For Kotoko
According to Purefmonline.com, Benard Antwi Bosiako, a businessman with ties to Ghana who is also known as Chairman Wontumi, has stated his desire to sign Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo to a contract with the Ghanaian Premier League.
Andy Owusu, an assistant to Chairman Wontumi, confirmed in a message to Kwame Adinkra, host of Kumasi-based Pure FM's “Pure Morning Drive” program, that they have already written their proposal letter for the purchase of Ronaldo to Kumasi Asante Kotoko Supporting Club and that they intend to submit their bid at the latest by November 25, 2022.
Following a botched $3.1 billion (£2.4 million) bid to buy Chelsea of the English Premier League, the mining tycoon recently made headlines.
Cristiano Ronaldo, the 37-year-old striker from Portugal, has been released by Manchester United and had his contract canceled.
On November 22, 2022, United issued a direct message for the club icon that was 67 words in length.
