I Hope Croatia Beats Argentina So That Messi Retires without A WC Trophy – Bridget Otoo

After his team defeated the Netherlands at the current World Cup in Qatar, Argentine captain Lionel Messi has come under fire from broadcaster Bridget Otoo for his behavior. 

Bridget Otto, who has been actively posting World Cup content on Twitter, made a comparison between Messi and his opponent, Cristiano Ronaldo. 

After 35 minutes, Argentina took the lead on a goal from Nahuel Molina, and after 73 minutes, Messi added an insurance goal from the penalty spot. 

Wout Weghorst's goal in the 83rd minute and another goal late in the game forced extra time as the Dutch came back to score two late goals. On penalties, the Argentines won 4–3 in favor. 

After the game, Messi was seen insulting several referees before using profanity on a Dutch player in his post-game interview. 

However taking to Twitter, Bridget Otoo wrote:

“After the disgusting behaviour of Messi and his team mates. Insulting even the coach. Calling a player stupid, I pray Croatia not only beat them but he retires without winning a World Cup trophy. I will mop Twitter with his tears. We all watched the game!”
