At the Accra Regional Police Command’s main gate on September 21, 2023, Evans Ago Tetteh, the husband of Metro TV newsreader Bridget Otoo, played a prominent role.
He had apparently heard of his wife’s treatment by police officers at the station, which resulted in her having a torn top.
Tetteh was observed erupting in rage, daring the cops to touch his wife once more, and ignoring all requests to calm down.
After speaking with his wife, he eventually departed.
The circumstances under which her irate husband arrived at the station were posted by the newsreader hours later.
I apologize to anyone who saw him driving like a mad man on the Winneba road. He did that in under an hour when he was supposed to be at a workshop in the central region. I’m glad he arrived safely. and on his way back to Winneba,” she tweeted.
