My Music Career Begun In Class 5 – Pappy Kojo
Jason Gaisie, better known by his stage name Pappy Kojo, has said that his music career began when he was a little child in Primary 5.
Pappy Kojo was born in Italy, but his parents took him to Ghana in 1990 to live with his grandmother in Takoradi. During those 10 years, he discovered and nurtured his love for music.
He said, “Music started while growing up in Takoradi. He named Obrafour and Reggie Rockstone as two musicians he admired when he was younger.
In an interview with Culture Daily, a 24-hour digital channel segment, the “Awoa” singer said that while living in Ghana, he attended Ridge International School for his basic and primary schooling. The 33-year-old rapper reflected on his time spent at Ridge International and described it as carefree, enjoyable, and fun.
“There are so many wonderful memories at Ridge International; if I had the chance to travel back in time and spend five minutes at Ridge International, I would take it.” “The competitiveness, the messing, everything was real; rap was rap,” he remarked.
