Seeing My Picture In A Shrine Doesn’t Mean I Go There – Kofi Kinaata

Martin King Arthur, better known as Kofi Kinaata, the Ghanaian musician, has issued a caution about purchasing products and services only because one sees him in a photo at a specific location or with a specific person.

He clarified that he often and explicitly endorses services and products on his social media accounts.

On Tuesday, December 20, 2022, Kinaata appeared alongside Nana Romeo on the “Ayekoo Ayekoo” mid-morning broadcast on Accra 100.5 FM.

The “Confessions” singer was mentioning how well-liked and accepted he is due to his songs.

He beamingly declared, “I will say everyone in Ghana is my fan.” I'm one of the select few artists who can confidently state that he is well-liked by all.

On the verge of laughing, he said, “There is no age restriction among my followers.”

He concurred with Nana Romeo that his admirers are diverse and come from different backgrounds. Then Kinaata related an incident in which she encountered an admirer who resembled a reverend.

He recounted, “We took a photo, and he informed me, “Kofi, your image is at a specific temple.”

“He said that he saw a picture of me and a traditional priest together at a shrine, and I assured him it wasn't an issue.” “He [probably] is a fan as well,” the prolific songwriter concluded.

Nana Romeo questioned him, asking if he was concerned about his photo being used for advertising.”People are free to speak anything they wish.” “My photo may similarly be shown in the chapel by a pastor,” he said.

He emphasized, “You can't also refuse people images out of concern that you don't know where he is taking them.” I'm open to anything and everything. “Who knows?” he said in jest. I could have even posed for a photo with the Devil himself in the past.
