A video of Ghanaian rapper Oseikrom Sikani bemoaning how little support Ghanaians provide upcoming musicians is making waves online.
Oseikrom Sikani alone stated his disappointment in the video over how Ghanaians are now heavily featured in South African songs.
Even if the popular South African songs right now don't make any sense, we still play them at events, bars, and other social gatherings, as Oseikrom Sikani sadly lamented.
Oseikrom Sikani claims that although local musicians invest time, money, and effort into creating songs with profound significance and motivating lyrics, Ghanaians will never buy their music.
He chastised his compatriots for not encouraging homegrown talent while praising outsiders.
