The expectations after Big Brother Naija were too much – Bryann
Bryann, often known as Big Baby Bri, was the popular reality show Big Brother Naija's first runner-up in the 2022 season. She revealed that there are high expectations for the housemates going forward.
The former Big Brother Naija housemate stated there was too much pressure to interact with fans and match the press's high expectations for social media presence during an interview with Giovani Caleb and AJ Sarpong on 3FM Drive on Thursday, May 11, 2023.
On my birthday, I had to take a moment to reflect and ask myself, “Why am I doing this?”I don't feel like I'm having fun,” he remembered.
People want you to be on the move, but he doesn't necessarily see the need to rush things and be all over the place.
He stated, ‘I paused, and I was like, “Yeah, I'm going to control how people see me.”
The young Nigerian singer added that there is a need to readjust to society after the reality show, and people don't understand that.
When asked about the fights that mostly occur in the house, he responded, ‘I think that house just brings something in you; you just want to fight'.
He, however, mentioned that he's now friends with some people he fought with when he was in the house.
Big Brother Naija, formerly known as Big Brother Nigeria, is a Nigerian reality competition television series that has been running since 2006. BBNaija is based on the Big Brother television franchise, in which contestants live in an isolated house and compete for a large cash prize and other material prizes.
Over the years, BBNaija has impacted the lives of its housemates positively and given them more recognition.
